1967 CB450D Super Sport - "D-Kit"

"Orange Crush"

Acquired in 2020 from a museum collection in Washington state, this exceptionally rare Honda is receiving a restoration to make it correct to its original condition.  The nickname is a nod to the fact that the paint job is supposed to be Candytone Orange though many sources referred to a Candy Red paint.  The 450-D was a transition model that converted 4-speed black bombers into scramblers that customers found more desirable.  Some bikes were converted at the factory, while others were converted by dealerships in the U.S.  52 unique parts were added to a 4-speed black bomber to make this incredible bike and I'm very pleased to have it in the collection.

Restoration by The Baker Collection
